The multi-play function allows up to six albums to be played in sequence (or a single album to be repeated up to 6 times).
The 981 features an electronic speed control/strobe which is working and was set to center on its scale.
It adjusts the platter rotation to allow the user to fine tune it if they feel it is needed.
