(3) Yamaha Natural Sound Stereo Receivers - (2) RX-450 / (1) RX-750) - SEE DESCRIPTION BELOW These are for PARTS / REPAIR.
All 3 of them are working, but need some minor repair.
All 3 are in good physical condition.
See info below.
3 Yamaha Stereo Receivers (2) Yamaha RX-450 Natural Sound Stereo Receivers (1) Yamaha RX-705 Natural Sound Stereo Receiver.
All working but have some defects with the display.
*On the first RX-450, The LED display bulb has burned out.
I looked at the display from an angle while the unit was on and could faintly see the display.
Looking at the unit thru the grill, you can see the part that needs to be replaced.
Looks like an easy fix if you can find the part.
Both channels as well as speakers A & B work with Radio, CD and Cassette.
However, Phono was not tested.
*On the second RX-450 - The LED display bulb has burned out.
I tried to replace it, but the connections were not stable enough to support popping the bulb out and they were separated from the bulb.
Looking at the photos, you can see the part that needs to be replaced.
Looks like an easy fix if you can find the part.
On this one, I cannot get sound out of the left channel.
The only way I was able to get sound from both speakers was to connect both A & B speakers to the right channel.
*On the RX-750, the display light has burned out.
Seems to be common issue with the RX series.
There also is some scratching when adjusting the selector knob.
May need a cleaning or knob replacement.
Also, I cannot get sound out of the right channel.
The only way I was able to get sound from both speakers was to connect both A & B speakers to the left channel.
CD, Radio and Tape functions work.
None of these receivers come with any remotes.
Would be a good investment for someone who is adept at stereo repair.
