RE: The Person Selling Computers In Canastota. Number Disconnected. (Canastota)

I purchased a computer from a man with green hair living in Canastota, and paid 100.

Business is conducted at the Savon off the Canastota exit 34.
I believe his name is Alex.
He is unprofessional with no customer service after the sale.
I relied on him to answer questions after the sale as he said he would, but found out he fixes broken computers, sells for a profit, and does not service what he sells.
I also saw information was not wiped from the previous owner and when I approached him by phone he claimed he knew nothing nor of any settings on the computer which was odd as he claimed he repaired it and was detailed on examining it before the sale.
I have tired to reach him by phone as he listed show contact info which is disconnected, and now after posting this, the number has been removed from his ads.
How convenient.
This obviously has become a scam.
I have reported him to the CANASTOTA POLICE and where it goes from here is anyone's guess.
I know as in my case, I needed to have the Dell Latitude 620 I purchased from him repaired a number of times to make it right.
I would highly recommend not purchasing from him unless you are fluent in computers, as there is absolutely no support after the sale.
