Adult Summer Camp Counselor

Job Overview: Manlius Pebble Hill School (MPH) seeks enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as summer camp counselors.
Our summer day camp for grades PreK-8 runs from July 1-August 9, Monday-Friday (except the week of July 1-3).
Lead and assistant counselor positions are available.
As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for children to learn, grow, and make lasting memories.
If you have a passion for working with children, this is the perfect opportunity for you! The candidate must be willing to engage in a variety of activities as needed.
Background in education a plus.

Responsibilities: - Lead counselors will supervise and engage with campers during daily camp classes and activities.
- Assistant lead counselors (Floaters) will work under the guidance of the summer camp director to assist lead counselors in specific classes or other activities including games, crafts, sports, field trips or other areas as needed.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times - Foster positive relationships with campers, parents, and fellow staff members - Provide guidance and support to campers in developing social skills and building self-confidence - Maintain a clean and organized camp environment If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children while having fun in a dynamic camp setting, we would love to hear from you!
